BBC WM are reporting that Birmingham City are close to appointing former Huddersfield manager Lee Clark as their new boss.
Clark is believed to have accepted the role after talks with the club this morning.
He was sacked at the Terriers in February after three years in charge, despite only having lost three time in fifty-five games.
He took to them to the League 1 playoff final in 2010/11 season and left the club fourth when sacked.
Birmingham have been looking for a new manager after Chris Hughton left to take over the vacant post at Premier League side Norwich City.
In related news, Birmingham’s goalkeeping coach Dave Watson is being linked heavily with Norwich to link up with his former manger, but Blues want him to stay.
