Brighton’s player of the season has been rewarded for his form as Pascal Gross has signed a new contract at the American Express Community Stadium.
Gross scored seven goals and played in all 38 of the Seagull’s maiden Premier League campaign after signing from Ingolstadt.
Those statistics resulted in Gross being named the club’s player of the season at the end of season awards and now the midfielder has signed a new deal keeping him at the club until June 2022.
Speaking about the new deal, Brighton boss Chris Hughton said: “We are delighted that Pascal has agreed a new contract with the club. He has enjoyed an excellent first season with us in the Premier League, and we are really pleased with the impact he has made.”
“He settled very quickly and became an integral member of the team. He won the club’s Player of the Season award, which was particularly impressive in his first season in England.”
