Swansea City have expressed an interest in Bristol City winger Albert Adomah.

The 24-year-old Ghana international had an excellent campaign with the Robins last term and attracted attention from a number of clubs.

There is interest from the top end of the Championship, but it is understood the player would rather take the step up to the Premier League.

Now Swansea have made their move and are understood to have made it clear they would pay £2million for the former Barnet man.

However, it is also understood City want closer to £3million for Adomah who has two years left on his current deal.

Whilst City boss Derek McInnes wants to keep his prized asset, the chance to have over £2million to spend is likely to be a big temptation.
